Munising Bay Overlook Community Forest

Alger County, Michigan

Once protected, this piece of land in Lake Superior's Munising Bay provides ecological benefits, natural beauty and sweeping views of the bay and city. This exciting project, led by the Trust for Public Land, will preserve the viewshed from downtown Munising, and create the opportunity to reroute an existing designated segment of the North Country Scenic Trail. This property includes 376-acres with streams, waterfalls and an extensive network of well-maintained natural trails.
