Trap Pond State Park

Delaware - Trap Pond State Park

When Trap Pond Partners reached out to OH! – the Outdoor Happiness movement to help them replace older playground equipment in the Trap Pond State Park campground area, there was little delay with granting this request! Their plans are to remove the existing heavily-used equipment and swap it out for a brand new and interactive playground. The playground boasts large and small tree climbers, a honeycomb maze, and a log crawl.

Located in Laurel, Delaware, the Trap Pond State Park is a popular destination for campers and visitors. With 142 campsites, a nature center and exhibit gallery, an extensive area of bald cypress trees, and 8 multi-use trails for hiking, biking, horseback riding, canoeing, and kayaking, this park offers families a wide array of memorable outdoor experiences and adventures.
