Fox River State Trail

Wisconsin - Fox River State Trail

In Green Bay, Wisconsin, Fox River State Trail is a popular spot for walking, jogging, biking, skating and horseback riding. The historic trail – used by Native Americans as a footpath, by early explorers as a trading post, and subsequently as a railway corridor – starts in downtown Green Bay following the Fox River and stretches on for 25 miles, offering plenty of opportunity for outdoor happiness with scenic stops, recreational areas and a fitness challenge course. To help encourage trail use, McKee Foods is partnering with the Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department to replace the trail’s damaged and outdated lighting with LED energy-efficient lighting.
