The Yellowstone Heritage Trail is a vision for a multi-use trail system from Livingston, Montana to Yellowstone National Park in partnership with the Trust for Public Land. This project will enhance outdoor access, protect 23 acres of open space, create over 3 miles of trail, and provide health and economic benefits to the Park County community.
In partnership with the Trust for Public Land, the Outdoor Happiness Movement is helping to fund the Rock Creek Grant School to celebrate community culture and build a resilient future for Indigenous people. This unique schoolyard will feature longhouse classrooms, restored meadows, Indigenous arts, and recreational spaces, serving as a vital cultural hub for the Lakota Oyate Tribe in the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.
With the help of the Outdoor Happiness Movement, the Trust for Public Land has created nearly 300 community schoolyard projects, transforming asphalt playgrounds into vibrant green spaces. In partnership with Stafford Elementary School, this effort will create a green space impacting over 5,770 residents within a 10-mile walk of the school.
